Warm, personable knowledgeable
Dr. Cooke was great, cannot say enough about the exemplary care and attention he provided to me. After seeing several other doctors, he was the first to approach my injury with the understanding of my athletic background. His experience in working with athletes allowed him to provid me with the answers I was looking for that others missed. Would definitely recommend.
Dr. Cooke is kind, knowledgeable, maintains eye contact with you when speaking (Not typing on the computer), spends time with you, addresses concerns and most importantly listens. Staff is great too!
I’m thankful I found you for my doctor to get my surgery
I was extremely pleased with my experience at DMC and in particular, Dr Chris Cooke. I can be a critic of some aspects of the medical field due to my beliefs in Naturalpathic Medicine. Dr Cooke was the third surgical opinion I received. He listened and therefore understood my goals as a competitive athlete. He truly wanted to do everything he could to get me back to my sport. He took the time to explain in great deal the procedures and possible outcomes. It all went better than expected.
Dr. Cooke was recommended by a friend who had a successful surgery with him. I could not have been more impressed with his kindness, knowledge, and willingness to answer all of my questions. He explained the benefits and risks of both having surgery and not having surgery. I have never had a doctor call me at home the day after surgery to see how I was doing. I will recommend him to anyone I know with any injury or joint pain. His office staff was outstanding as well.
Dr. Cooke has been amazing in his communication and very thorough. He took time to understand my lifestyle and desired outcomes for surgery. I greatly respect his thoughtful approach to my complicated case, & willingness to consult with colleagues in effort to identify the best approach for my surgery. He took time to explain procedures and realistic outcomes as well as allowing ample time for any questions. I have never felt rushed, always feel heard, and he seems to be genuinely interested
Dr. Cooke is down to earth and doesn't sugar coat anything. His bedside manner is superb and sets the standard for others. The mechanism that caused my distal tendon rupture was the first of it's kind but thankfully the operation was a complete success. The follow up and availability either by cell phone or email was exceptional. The office staff and hours were very accommodating and his personal oversight with physical therapy are just part of what he does.
Dr. Cooke was very personable and explained my son's ( 13 years old) brake in a way he could understand. He has a great bedside manner and the whole office experience was a pleasant one for both myself and my son.
