Appointment scheduled months ago to see Neurologist, Andrea Rossi, for unexplained seizures for today, April 2, 2019. Called yesterday to confirm and ensure I didn't need to fast for testing and that all documentation was in order. Arrived 45 minutes early to complete paperwork with Duhleah, a receptionist. She asked, "Do you GOT your referral?" I responded by telling her that my doctors office had already sent it and that I was told yesterday all documentation was in order. Refused to be seen because doctor Glen Gradis does not take my secondary insurance. But he does take the primary. Yet refused.?? Find a new doctor not with it. I honestly thought doctors were in it for helping people. Not the all mighty dollar!!!
They say high quality patient care and patient needs come first. But, when you tell the doctor treating you that you aren't satisfied with the way you are treated and give a suggestion as to how to potentially prevent future patients from feeling the same way I did, all of a sudden I'm in the wrong. Also my sprained ankle was not treated in any way and I was told not to go to another urgent care or emergency because they would not help me.
